Synopsis: Edmund Villon (Dingdong Dantes), a corrupt detective, abruptly leaves his mother's funeral when he learns that his team is under investigation for corruption. While driving, he runs over and kills a homeless man who unexpectedly appears on the street. Fearing the consequences of his drunken state, Edmund decides not to involve the police and hides the body from a passing patrol car. He manages to hide the body in his mother's coffin during the funeral, but then he realizes that the man's cell phone is also inside. In order to cover up the previous accident, Edmund intentionally gets into another accident, which gives him a reason to visit a repair shop.
Edmund and his team are lucky when Lt. Franco cancels the internal affairs investigation. They are then tasked with locating and arresting a wanted murderer named Apyong, who turns out to be homeless. While searching Apyong's hideout, they encounter another police officer who is investigating a hit-and-run case. The hiding place is near the scene of the accident, where there is a traffic camera. The team checks the camera footage and determines that the colliding car is the same model as Edmund. Apyong's phone triangulation leads them to the area near Edmund's mother's grave.
Ace Franco (John Arcilla), the driver of the patrol car that passed Edmund after killing Apyong, turns out to be the lieutenant who ended the investigation against Edmund's team. Franco overtakes Edmund and witnesses the collision, but does not know where the body was taken. Instead of denouncing Edmund, Franco blackmails him and demands the body. Edmund searches the coffin and finds gunshot wounds on Apyong's body, suggesting he was shot before Edmund hit him.
Apyong's phone rings. Edmund finds and questions the caller, a criminal. The criminal admits that Franco stole a lot of cocaine. Apyong took the key to the safe where Franco kept his winnings and fled. Franco shot Apyong and chased him until Edmund hit him with his car. Edmund learns that Apyong always carries everything important with him. Edmund returns to the grave and finds the key. But Arturo, Edmund's friend and subordinate, stops him. Arturo followed Edmund after seeing his car's license plate on a traffic camera.
Edmund confesses to Arturo, who decides not to arrest him because of his daughter. Edmund exposes Franco's illegal operations. They receive a call from Franco, who tells Edmund to get out of Arturo's car so as not to involve him. Franco kills Arturo by using a crane to drop a shipping container onto his car. Edmund plans to denounce Franco and surrender, but Franco threatens to harm Edmund's sister and daughter. Edmund steals an explosive from the police basement and hides it in Apyong's body.
Edmund hands the body to Franco, who catapults Franco's van off a bridge and into a lake. Edmund returns home and prepares to confess his crimes, but Franco, who survived the explosion, attacks him. During the fight, Franco accidentally shoots himself while trying to retrieve a revolver from a fallen shelf. High-ranking police officers decide to cover up Franco and Edmund's crimes to protect their reputations. Edmund resigns and starts a business with his sister. At her mother's grave, Edmund finds the key that he took from Apyong's body. He decides to go to Franco and Apyong's private safe, where he discovers a huge sum of money. Instead of keeping it all for himself, he uses some of the money to help his sister and others in need.
